Continuing Pharmacy Education

The California Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE)as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

Pharmacists

CSHP determines the number of contact hours for each session. Registrants may earn up to 16 hours at Seminar 2009.

To initiate this process, attendees must record their CPE on a Continuing Pharmacy Education Documentation Form. This form will be provided to each attendee at the start of Seminar 2009.

Pharmacy Technicians

Seminar 2009 continuing education courses are a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)-accepted method for certified pharmacy technicians to obtain CPE credit. Programs offering CPE credit for technicians are designated with a "T" following the ACPE number. A Continuing Pharmacy Education Documentation Form for Pharmacy Technicians is available and will be provided to each attendee at the start of Seminar 2009. Contact PTCB at 202-429-7576 for further information. Programs do not have to offer pharmacy CPE credit to be acceptable by PTCB.

CSHP is also approved by the California Board of Registered Nurses, Provider Number CEP 467. For a list of available continuing pharmacy education courses, please click here.

Exhibitor Theaters

Through the support and funding of our partners in industry, CSHP is able to provide our attendees with educational Exhibitor Theaters. Attendees are able to obtain extra continuing education credits by attending these programs. Unless otherwise specified, the program organizer is responsible for continuing pharmacy education credits and content.
